The Photo Adventures

were experienced professionals and amateurs alike, with a common goal of
creating a venue to share their knowledge, information, techniques and
We share an interest in all
forms of photography, including color and monochrome prints and digital images. Subject matter varies widely, including but not limited to Nature,
Landscapes and Portraits.
The club format is informal. We encourage all our members to participate in the digital image critiquing held at every meeting.
first meeting of the month is an open forum where all members are free to show
their latest work, ask questions, show their equipment, discuss techniques, propose
field trips and tell any photography-related stories. Subject matter varies widely and
one never knows what they'll see & learn at a meeting.
The second meeting includes showing slide
shows created by members on different topics, or instructional presentations by members
on topics such as Photoshop, Pro Show, etc. Details here
The Club strives to hold a
field trip to some photographically interesting location every month.

We have found that field trips
are one of the best ways to increase your photographic expertise as you are
in the field learning in real time. Members learn from one another the elements
that make up a good shot, which is one of the Club's objectives.
