Retired since December of 1996 after 35 years in government service.
I was in the US Air Force from 1959 to 1970 stationed at various AF installations in the US including a two year assignment in Anchorage, Alaska (Elmendorf AFB) and two year assignment in Tachikawa (Air Station, near Tokyo) Japan. My career in the Federal government was in the computer field. Assignments included work at the National Environment Satellite Service under NOAA (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration), and at CDC ( Centers for Disease Control & Prevention) I worked in NIOSH (The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), The National Immunization Program, and in the CDC Personnel Office.
When I retired my last 15 years was working at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Ga.
At the moment the equipment I use most is:
Canon 7D Mark II
A Canon EFS 15-135mm stm lens
A Canon EFS 100-400mm lens
A Canon EFS 70-200mm lens
And since Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max
I shoot primarily wildlife but venture out in other areas as well.
I have been with the PACC group since 2010 and enjoy every minute of it.
